Attendance & PLT
This Friday (12/13) is the last PLT session and final opportunity for students to recover missed time. Students and parents are strongly encouraged to check attendance in PowerSchool. Students who have missed more than 5 unexcused absences in a single class (or 3 for a 9-weeks class), will receive a grade of Failure due to Absences (FA) and will need to complete a recovery course to earn credit.

Manufacturing Field Study
This Friday (12/13) we will be taking a group of students on a Manufacturing Field Study to Nephron Pharmaceuticals and Charter NEX Films. Any interested student should see Mr. Whatley or Mrs. Epps for a permission form.

Supporting our Prom
To keep ticket prices low, we are encouraging students to participate in numerous small fundraisers throughout the year. Students may purchase coffee, hot chocolate, and doughnuts this Wednesday before school, and we will have SantaGrams (candy) on sale next Monday and Tuesday.

Parents, do you need stocking stuffers? We have Krispy Kreme certificates on sale now – one dozen glazed doughnuts for only $8.

When putting away your holiday decorations, please consider donating any unwanted but working Christmas lights. Our prom theme is Enchanted Garden and we plan to decorate with LOTS of white lights.

Second Semester
Our 2nd semester courses begin Tuesday, January 7. (That Monday is a teacher workday.) Student schedules for 2nd semester will be available before Winter Break. Any requests to change schedules should be submitted by January 13.
