No School – Monday, February 15
In honor of President’s Day, MMC will be closed Monday, February 15. There will be no in-person classes or E-Learning assignments that day.
Forecasters are predicting a slight possibility of severe weather in our area next week. If we must close school, we will revert to the “Hybrid-at-Home” learning model. On the days when students would normally attend classes in-person, instead they will attend live online via Google Meet. Attendance will be taken at these sessions. Students should look for specific instructions from their teachers in Google Classroom, and should reach out via email with any questions.
If school is closed for weather or any emergency situation, the fastest way for you to receive this announcement is via Remind. Please follow these instructions to sign up for our school-wide Remind. Announcements regarding school closure will also be sent via email.

If you missed this opportunity in the fall and would like to participate now, please contact Mrs. G via email as soon as possible. If we have enough interest, we will schedule the additional day.
The following announcements are all reminders, just in case you missed anything!

Please note: This new process gives you MANY more options for class rings, senior apparel, announcements, etc. However, the only items you MUST purchase to participate in the ceremony are your cap/gown/tassel and your diploma cover. Shipping on these required items is free to the school, and your total cost will be just $47.62. You will find these two items under the “Regalia” category.
Ticket sales will take place later this spring. With current safety guidelines, graduates will each be allowed to purchase TWO tickets to the ceremony. We will offer additional tickets if the guidelines change and we have space available. Please DO NOT send money at this time – we will reach out again closer to the graduation date.
Health & Safety Reminder
We are committed to keeping our students and staff safe during our in-person learning. Please remember to notify the school immediately if you test positive for COVID-19, or if you have been identified as a close contact to someone who tests positive. If you are experiencing any possible symptoms of COVID, you should stay home and contact the school.
Masks must be worn PROPERLY at all times on campus. This includes covering the mouth and nose. Parents, please ensure your student has a mask that fits well and stays in place. Thank you for helping to keep our campus healthy!
