Last week, Midlands Middle College was awarded $5,000 in grant funding from Bank of America, for Workforce Development and Education Initiatives. Midlands Middle College is a public, non-profit charter school that offers dual enrollment for its students. Students can obtain college credits from Midlands Technical College simultaneously while working toward their high school diploma.
The dual enrollment option is free for students attending Midlands Middle College, and is funded mostly through grants like these. Thanks to the support from businesses and organizations in this community, like Bank of America, more students in the Midlands will be able to achieve success in terms of education and career readiness.
