Parents & Students

Midlands Middle College is a proud member of the SC Public Charter School District.  As a part of the state charter district, we are held to a high standard of putting Kids First in all we do.  To adequately reflect the work our state charter schools do, the SCPCSD has developed a new accountability model by which our district schools are rated.  This index directly rates MMC’s academics (based upon our charter goals), finances, and operations.

MMC serves 10th, 11th and 12th grade students.  MMC has a max enrollment of 135 students.  Due to this model, MMC does not test the required number of students to meet the minimum reporting guidelines to receive points for the academic achievement or preparing for success tiles on the report card.  This inability to receive these points directly affects our overall score.  The 2023-2024 school report card, therefore, does not adequately reflect the amazing work being done within our school.  We are focused on our students obtaining a state high school diploma and student’s college/career readiness.  Please celebrate with us, the following data:
  • Our students are leaving college and/or career ready.
  • Our students and staff recognize MMC as a safe learning environment, physically and social-emotionally.
